8 Months

We have a Mama's Boy on our hands, and I'm loving it! Michael is super attached to me currently. He does fine when I'm not around, but if I'm present, I need to be within eyesight or he's losing his mind. I tell Ben not to take it personally--I'm sure things will be much different very soon.

At 8 Months:
Sleeps between 10-11 hours a night. I usually have to wake him up during the
week to go to daycare. He spends the weekend catching up on his sleep.
Has 1 tooth and one more about to pop through. Both on the bottom.
Isn't crawling yet, but manages to get where he wants to go!
Pulls up to his knees
Talks A LOT
Weighs about 22lbs
Has not turned down ANY food he's been offered, with the exception of fresh
mangoes. We've been offering him a lot of the same things we eat. He's had
chicken Philly, beef brisket, potatoes, almost every fruit imaginable. We still
haven't tried any milk/dairy products (yogurt, cheese) although I've been told
by our Ped that its fine. We also haven't tried eggs.
Has had 2 ear infections (probably the same one actually).
Is so sweet! He loves to crawl on us and share his toys with us. He is a doll if
I do say so myself

We've been swimming a couple of times, and Michael loves it!

We celebrated the Bulldogs making it to the College World Series with a quick little photo shoot. I've never been much of a baseball fan, but how could I not be excited about the accomplishments of the team.









My brother, Wes, and his wife, Katy, welcomed their first baby at the end of June. Baby Noah is an absolute doll, and being a pretty good baby so far--from what I hear anyway!






I had my 10 year class reunion a couple of weekends ago. SO much fun! I admit, I didn't want to go and had to be coaxed into it by Leah, but I'm so glad I went. It was a lot of fun catching up with everyone and meeting everyone's sweet babies. We had a picnic Saturday afternoon and all the babies were so sweet playing together. There was a banquet Saturday night and we all danced like it was a Vogue Event. It was pretty hilarious and my knee was a bit sore the next day--definitely out of practice on the dance floor!
