I've always wanted to blog, but until this pregnancy thing, I didn't have anything worthwhile to talk about--I have a feeling that's all about to change!
Ben and I are super excited for Michael's arrival. These two, on the other hand, are in for a rude awakening
Bella and Rocky--bless them. They've ruled the roost for years. We've played YouTube videos of babies crying-they HATE it. This should be interesting...
Thought I'd share some pictures of the nursery before he gets here and things get messy. We plan to let him sleep in our room in a Pack-N-Play for several weeks before moving him in here, but it's ready for him.
I made this "mood board" way long ago...I think I got close to my initial idea:
Some more nursery pics:
Can I just say how much I hate crib mobiles. They are absolutely hideous. I know it shouldn't matter, but they clash with every possible decorating style.
The little "gallery wall":
It's my favorite part! The top left image is a yellow beehive (for KO of course). I crafted the bottom left thing out of a canvas, fabric and wooden letter. The beige frame in the middle was made by my dear friend Whitney. The bottom row wooden frame was a gift from my Mother in law. There's a sweet little poem inside that hung in Ben's nursery when he was a baby. The top middle image is silhouettes of our sweet pups, and the bottom blue frame is a Shel Silverstein poem. The frame on the far right is a cool print I found on Etsy from this shop. Anywho, it's my favorite thing in the nursery--love it all!
So, that's all for now. Baby Michael Harvey will be here soon hopefully. I'm still working full time and plan to until his arrival. Here's hoping my water doesn't break while running a Fracture Clinic!

Yay... I'm so glad you posted pictures of his sweet nursery. Can't wait to hear about his arrival!
